Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a slow-burn adventure that trusts you to explore. You wander a foggy town, pick up objects, and piece together what happened to the people who left. The puzzles are logical rather than cruel, and the mood is the real star.

The tap-to-move controls are smooth, and the game does a good job of highlighting things you can interact with without holding your hand too hard. I got stuck twice and both times the answer was fair once I found it.

It's fully offline and one of the more beautiful things I've played on a phone this year. Play it with headphones in a dark room.
