About
Offline Pocket started because we got tired of downloading a game only to hit a login wall the moment the Wi-Fi dropped. We are a small crew of people who play on the commute, in waiting rooms, and on trains where the signal disappears for twenty minutes at a time. Everything you read here has been installed, played, and often uninstalled in frustration before it earned a spot.,We only cover games that genuinely run without a connection. That sounds simple, but a surprising number of titles fake it — they load fine and then quietly break when they can't phone home. We check for that first, then we play long enough to have an honest opinion.,Every review is written by someone who actually finished a chunk of the game, not by skimming a store page. We note the controls, the pacing, how heavy the game is on battery, and whether it nags you for anything. If a game is boring after an hour, we say so.,We are independent. Nobody pays us to like a game, and we buy or download everything ourselves. If that ever changes, we will label it clearly at the top of the page.
